Clothing Swap & Shop

Throughout the year, we have a Trans, Non-binary and Gender nonconforming Clothing swap/shop where you can come along and pick out a new outfit.  Watch our events page to see when our next one is.

You can either bring some items along to swap or you can “shop” (items are free or at a low cost).  Each person will be given tokens to exchange for items.  If you have donated items to the swap you will receive an extra token.

If you need clothes, toiletries, makeup, or a binder, please get in touch. We may be able to help you.

We are still looking for donation of clothing, hats, accessories, shoes, bags, wigs, toiletries and binders.

If you would like to donate please can you contact us.

Book Synopsis:

unbinaried is a collaboration between Rainbow Bedfordshire and the radical education and humanities group, a loose collective of academics at the University of Bedfordshire.

unbinaried, which amplifies voices from within the Bedfordshire community, is an anthology of writing and artwork across genres, which explores gendered experiences and embraces trans+ identities.

Our contributors include trans+, gender-non-conforming, and allied writers – academics, poets, illustrators, community members, and first-time authors alike. Each piece we have been trusted with contributes to an open-ended dialogue.

We hope unbinaried provides a space for listening, reflection, and learning about differently embodied experiences of gender, May these pages make room for exploration, compassion, insight, and conversation. We hope this will be the first instalment of a continual collection, and that one day, it might unbinary your voice too.

Compiled and edited by Shelby Davies and Katie O’Pray with crucial support from Dr Oliver Belas and Dr Alex Baird

No previous experience or even natural ability needed to join our singing group (This is not X Factor, there are no ‘Judges’ houses’). If you play a instrument please fill free to bring it along!
